SAFETY is at the forefront of everything we do. Dekatherm, Inc. is fully committed to the safety of its employees, its customers and the public. The key to our successful safety program is the participation of all Dekatherm, Inc. employees. Many of our employees have been trained in First Aid and CPR, air monitoring procedures, and OSHA standards. Our foremen and crews hold daily on-site prejob safety walks. All of our foremen have successfully completed the OSHA-10 hour safety course. Many of these safety courses are reinforced each year with refresher training.
Our employees participate in our annual pre-season safety meetings. During these meetings topics included are general safety and health provisions, fall protection, flagger training, personal protective equipment, hand and power tools, excavations and trench safety.
